surprisingly good quality for a digicam (and i assume, it's not a highend camera).

Actually its a Nikon D1 using a Nikkor 80-200 2.8 AF D lens.
Relatively low resolution for todays standards, but it gets the job done, and is a great way to learn about photography. Just like using a normal SLR but with instant feedback. Actually though, the resolution is high enough to be used for print, if I could just get the photo quality high enough to match.

the only problem the D1 has is: it doens't fit into a 'hosentasche'. not even in a baggy one...

I would probably get more dates if it did, especially with the 80-200.
